Grab the popcorn! In celebration of the 97th Academy Awards® on March 2, we invite you to enter the Chicago Sun-Times’ Beat the Critic competition with one of the most acclaimed movie critics in the country, Richard Roeper.

Enter to win by casting your votes for this year’s Oscar winners.

Here’s how it works:

1. In the weeks leading up to the Oscars® (from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3 - 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 28), movie fans are invited to submit their picks for this year’s Academy Awards® winners using the entry form below.

2. Once the Oscar® winners are announced, we’ll tally up Roeper’s score and compare it with our readers’ totals.

3. We will select one winner from those who correctly out-guess Roeper — and they will win 4 tickets to an exclusive screening with Rich, plus a swag bag.

   Note: The screening will take place in downtown Chicago.
